Practicing on line

HI!!
I know it’s been some time since I last posted but here I am (that is if there’s somebody out there reading this  :/)  Well, this time I want to share with you a very interesting website I found in which you can practice languages in a very fun and interactive way: languages on line
This website helps you practice the basics of a language: greeting, introductions, numbers, family members, etc. There are several languages available: Chinese, French, German, Italian, Macedonian, Spanish, Turkish, and ESL for beginners.
The practice of the language is done through games that can be interesting for children or teenagers and even adults willing to have fun. Match the image with the word; spell the word you hear, sing-along, and more. Give it a try!!

When you don't know, ask!

Sometimes we are afraid to try things we don't know but it never harms to give it a chance. It isalways a good idea to ask others to see how much they know, how they do it andwhy they do it; in this case: technology. If you don't know how to properly use it as a part of your class, go and ask your colleagues, listen to what they have to say, steal *ahem* borrow their experiences, exchange ideas . . . share. Prepare your questions in advance, compare the notes you take from your colleagues, get ready and put into practice what you learned!!!

Here's an example of the questions I asked my colleagues: Patty, Teresa, Miguel. Their answers make me realize how important technology is and how, as part of our daily lives, we cannot leave it out of the classroom.

When using a video consider

to have everything prepared: what objective you what to achieve, what you are going to watch, how long it takes, etc. Do not forget to consider three stages: Pre-viewing, Viewing, Post-viewing; use them and plan your class around them. If necessary, specify the resources or material you will need and the time for each activity.
